Granpa’s ford, engine is humming Skipping church, where are our morals? Tree is growing, fast horse running, My dog is running, chasing squirrels.
Notes: Thank you for reading.
This will be featured in next week’s post, along with other older poetry forms that are somewhat forgotten. This piece is inspired by the French tradition triolet.
I love writing in form, it is always a present to myself. But, form is mostly dead (or close to it). That’s okay, time passes. Trends are trends and I like trendy things just as much as everyone else.
This particular poem is based on a conversation I had with my Gramma on her birthday. She was feeling down, her friend is super sick. She said she called her frequently, daily. Her friend asked her to describe what’s around her. My Granpa died quite some time ago, but she mentioned him too. That’s okay though, time passes.
I hope you will consider reading next week’s post with some other interesting poem forms. Maybe you will consider writing in one yourself?
Thank you for reading.

I really love this so much. I read it and went back to read it again but was surprised it was so short because I got SO MUCH action and description from it.
Very sweet.
I'd like to submit a poem but maybe I need some guidance on form?
